We have started our trip to Athisayam Water Amusement Park, Madurai with my hubby’s colleagues family today morning. I love water theme parks and so I am very much excited to enjoy all the rides. I had visited Black Thunder Theme park, Coimbatore , Queens Land Chennai before, out of which I like Queens Land Theme park the most.

We have reached Kayathaar, Suzlon office around  10.00 a.m. After having our breakfast, we have started to Athisayam Water Theme Park. We reached theme park at 11.30 a.m and it is already late.

We are welcomed by cold water pours from the top at the Entrance Shower. Here is the pic of Entrance Shower,

There are many water rides which are divided into Phase I and II. They operate only for limited timings. We had fun in lazy river for some time.

We went to wave pool where wave was less when compared to other water parks I visited.We didn’t go to Madurai Courtallam but captured a picture for you,

Had a good time at Multi Play Water Play System.We also enjoyed the slides but I could see the slide surfaces are not smooth and eroded in most areas and so stopped water rides with this .

We went to canteen to have lunch. The food at the canteen was not up to the mark and there was no varieties of food to taste.After lunch, we went to dry ride area where we enjoyed Swing chair ride. It enjoyed it to the core

Also, we have enjoyed the most thrilling ride, octopus. Many in the ride were scared but I enjoyed it.

The baby train was not at all moving. It is kept on a track which is approximately 30 feet length rail.

The Dashing cars in the theme park are charged extra. There is a soldier sculpture with empty face  where you can capture a picture of yours in Soldier attire.

Overall, Athisayam theme park is an average theme park but if you go to Madurai and need to spend a day with family, you can definitely visit this park. My rating for this theme park is 3/5. This is my personal opinion and review.
