Treat iron deficiency using this natural drink

Iron deficiency occurs if you don’t have enough iron in your body. Use copper vessels for cooking and eat more vegetables increases iron in your body. Eating 2 date fruits along with a glass of boiled milk in the morning also help to maintain right iron levels in the body. Today let us see a natural drink preparation which can be used by all, including children and pregnant women,


  • Black sesame seeds (Karuppu ellu in tamil)-1/4 tsp
  • Badam-2 nos.


  • Jaggery-as needed


  • Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp

  • English walnut/Juglans regia(Akhrot in tamil)-2 nos.
  • Beetroot juice-100 ml


  1. Remove the outer skin of beetroot and grind it to get its juice
  2. Grind black sesame seeds, badam , English walnut and cumin seeds to get its powder
  3. Grind jaggery to get its powder
  4. Take 100 ml of beetroot juice in a glass
  5. Add the powder little by little and mix it well
  6. Add powdered jaggery and mix it well
  7. Drink it


  • Drink 100 ml of this drink in the morning daily for few days
