Today let us see a healthy spicy southern Indian soup (rasam) preparation which helps you to reduce body weight. It also cures the numbness (unarvinmai in tamil) in diabetic person. Let us see the remedy in detail,
Ingredients:
- Gooseberry pieces-25 gm
- Tomato-2 nos.
- Mint leaves-10 gm
- Ginger-5 gm
- Dry red chilly-2 numbers
- Green chilly-10 gm
- Pepper-5 gm
- Cumin seeds-5 gm
- Turmeric powder-as needed
- Salt-as needed
- Asafoetida powder-as needed
- Mustard seeds- as needed
Preparation:
- Dry roast pepper, cumin seeds,Ginger, green chilly, tomato, Asafoetida powder and salt together
- Add mint leaves and sauté it
- Take it in a bowl
- Grind to get its paste
- Boil 100 ml of water in a pan
- Add Goose berry, ground paste and allow it to boil
- Add turmeric powder to it and turn off the flame
- Take it in a bowl
- Boil gingelly oil in a pan
- Add mustard seeds ,curry leaves, and 1 dry red chilly
- Add it to the gooseberry paste
- Amla spicy southern Indian soup is ready
- Mix it with rice and eat
