Poovar is located around 6 kms from my mom’s home. My St.Joseph’s HSS friends arranged for a get together after 18 years at Poovar Island Resort today. I was really excited to see my childhood friends with their families after long years. I started from home around 9.30 a.m. My friend Nitha Raj and her daughter came to my home and my hubby dropped us to the resort by car.I was very happy to meet my gold old friends .

We have availed Poovar island resort’s boating facility to go into the resort. I enjoyed the boat ride with my friends.

There are many floating cottages and land cottages at Poovar Island Resort.

We were welcomed by a mango drink.It tasted delicious. There is a kids park with swings, see-saws, and many more…Happy to see my friends enjoying in kids ride.

Kids enjoyed at swimming pool. Even adults can enjoy but we were just sitting around it and having fun.After chit chats and fun, we had a delicious lunch.It was a buffet lunch and I should admit that all the dishes were so yummy. I missed to click the pictures of it.After lunch, we had a memorable photo shoot.

We ended the day at the resort with tea and biscuits. We have got an option to go to Poovar island beach too as it was late, we didn’t go to the beach.We returned back happily at the evening.The lake view during sunset was amazing

It was one of the most unforgettable and lovely days in my life and the visit to this resort is really worth.Awaiting for the next get together at Mahindra Club Resort, Poovar on Dec 31,2016.
