When we meet our old friends, time seems to rewind and yesss, we’re back in the youth phase once again! Meeting childhood friends and then reminiscing about the good old days is the best part. Spending time with these dear ones ends up with unlimited talks which fills your life with some very refreshing moments. We friends of St.Joseph’s HSS School(St.Anne’s convent), Trituapuram met for the third time at Anantya Resorts, Chittar on 28^th December 2017.

Our first meeting point was Poovar Island Resort and the second one was Club Mahindra Resort, Poovar and now we changed the ambiance to Chittar, Anantya Resorts. We have planned for this day few months ago and we all were awaiting for this great day. Each of these reunions will have atleast one new joiner every year and it is the greatest joy for us.

We reached Anantya around 11 a.m . We were welcomed by a lemonade drink. We all were extremely happy to meet each other. We rewound the clock to school days and relished all the funny moments we had. Some of my friends have a very good memory power so they shared most of the humorous experiences we had during our childhood and we all ended up with laughing till stomach aches. First crush, nick names, teachers are all was the part of our talks and we were filled with nostalgic fond memories of our school days.

Now, it’s the time to share something about Anantya resort.It is located on the banks of Chittar lake at Kanyakumari district. The resort is filled with rubber plantations. I liked the ambiance and calm atmosphere. Let me share few pictures,

Swimming pool:

This is their public swimming pool located at the edge of chittar lake. You can walk to the hut  and enjoy sitting there with legs dipped inside the pool.

Svaad- the resort’s multi cuisine restaurant:

‘Svaad’ restaurant is the resort’s main and primary dining room which is surrounded by lily ponds.We had the meals overlooking the lake.

We enjoyed a delicious meal with veg soup,country chicken curry, fish curry, chicken fry,  ice cream, semiya payasam etc..I liked country chicken curry very much and the fish curry was not up to the mark. I was busy at eating and forgot to capture the photos of the meals 😛

Around the property,

Our friendship bond turns stronger upon every meeting. We don’t wanna lose our friends and so we decided the next get together date now itself. Meeting good old friends is impeccable and will help you to keep the spirit of the true friendship, so never miss the chance if get any.
