This breakfast recipe is very simple to prepare and require ingredients which are readily available in your kitchen cabinet. The broken wheat porridge (kothumai rava kanji in tamil) is very healthy and it is good for children too. It tastes yummy. It improves immunity power and provides complete diet for you. I have prepared this today and it was delicious.

- Broken wheat (Wheat rava)-1/2 cup
- Cashew nut-1 tsp.
- Badam-1 tsp.
- Cardamom-2 to 3 nos.
- Jaggery- as needed
- Water-200 ml
- Grind cashew nut and badam to get its powder
- Crush cardamom to get its powder
- Boil water in a pan
- Add broken wheat to it
- Add the cashew nut, badam powder
- Add elachi powder and cook it well
- Add jaggery to it
- Add grated coconut
- Drink it
- You can eat it daily
