Thirparappu water falls is a famous water falls in Kanyakumari. It looks grand with lavish showers during monsoons. This waterfalls originate from the Kodayar river or Kothai River and descend at Thirparappu from a height of around 50 feet. Last Saturday, my husband’s office HR planned for a family trip. We started from our home around 7 a.m and started our trip to Thirparappu water falls by tourist bus. We had a good breakfast on the way. We reached water falls around 11 a.m.
When we meet our old friends, time seems to rewind and yesss, we’re back in the youth phase once again! Meeting childhood friends and then reminiscing about the good old days is the best part. Last Saturday(September 30,2017), being a holiday we planned for one day trip to Kochi. We prepared lunch for all at home Friday night, one or more items at a home so that all can eat it. Today morning around 4.30 a.m, we started our trip to Ernakulam from my mom’s home. Once we got into the bus, after a prayer, we took the mic and had a great time for some time. Kids sang songs, narrated stories and enjoyed well.
Last Sunday morning my friend Latha called me and told me that she is coming to my home. I am so happy and prepared a simple lunch for her family quickly. She came to my home along with her family and I was so happy to meet them all again. She reached my home around 12.30 p.m.We planned to visit Baywatch amusement park today. I love water theme parks and so I was excited to enjoy all the rides.
Last Saturday, being holiday we went to Nanjil exhibition at Nagercoil with family. The entrance fee is Rs.50/per person for all aged 4 years and above. Timing is 4 p.m to 10 p.m daily till june 4 2017.
On a sunny day, wanna go out to relax for a while. You can definitely visit a beach. Take a walk along the sea shore on an evening relieves you from stress. Go ahead and take a break from your usual busy schedule.
On New year day, we just wanna go out nearby to refresh ourselves. Everyone in our family suggested so many places but finally we decided to go to Kovalam beach, trivandrum. I have visited Kovalam few times but this trip was memorable as I enjoyed Speed boat ride today.
The school days are one of the best days of my life and I love my childhood school friends coz whenever we meet or whenever we chat we feel that we are still kids. We make fun on each other, enjoy each others company and feel the best.
Christmas is celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. It is a festival of joy and happiness. In our place, we decorate our house with stars, lights, cribs etc… Christmas crib at Palapallam is famous in Kanyakumari. Every year the crib theme changes which makes the crib even more beautiful and artistic.This year the theme is Lord’s second coming and the judgement. Many people visit palapallam to see this beautiful crib every year. This year on the way to my home town, we just viewed this beautiful crib. Here are few pictures of it,
Manakudy is an estuary where the pazhayar river and the Arabian sea meets. It is a place of nature’s beauty. It has a beautiful bridge, a lovely beach , birds hub and a mangrove island. Recently back water boating facility is also available in Manakudy boating centre.
Manakudy is around 3 kms from my home and around 5 kms from Kanyakumari. We go to Manakudy beach whenever we feel to walk along the beach ,whenever we need a calm and cool place to sit and relax. It is a less crowded beach. I love beaches coz the cool gentle breeze welcomes always.
