Treat mental illness using this side dish (thuvayal in tamil) naturally


Mental problems are caused due to mental stress, injuries in head/brain and depression. It can be treated easily using this side dish. You can mix it with rice and eat it. Having a good night sleep is vital for healthy mind and body.


  • Alternanthera sessilis(Ponnanganni Keerai in tamil) leaves juice-a handful

  • Apple-1 no.

  • Black urad dhal-2 tsp.

  • Dry red chilly-2 tsp.


  • Garlic-5 cloves

  • Gingelly oil-as needed

  • Tamarind-amla size

  • Himalayan salt(induppu in tamil)-as needed


  1. Remove the outer skin of apple and cut it into small pieces
  2. Boil gingelly oil In a pan
  3. Add black urad dhal and saute it well
  4. Add garlic,dry red chilly,apple, alternanthera sessilis(Ponnanganni Keerai in tamil) leaves ,tamarind and saute it well
  5. Add black salt to it and saute it well
  6. Turn off the flame
  7. Cool it
  8. Grind it well


  •  Eat it daily


  • You can use normal salt too.
